What You Will Need

1 1/2 cups  Cream of mushroom soup

1 cups  Grated cheese

3/4 cups  Peas & corn

13 oz / 375 g  Penne pasta

1 1/2 cups  Tin salmon, drained and flaked

What To Do

1. Preheat oven to 356°F / 180°C.

2. Grease an 8-cup capacity baking dish.

3. Cook pasta according to packet direction

4. Combine tuna, peas and corn, soup and pasta in a large bowl.

5. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Spoon pasta mixture into prepared dish.

7. Sprinkle with cheese.

8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until set.

English fashion model Daisy Lowe, the daughter of equally famous singer-songwriter mum, Pearl Lowe, saw her younger siblings following in her footsteps as they made their modelling debut in the alexandalexa.com March magazine photoshoot.

Vogue.com couldn’t help but notice three of the alexandalexa.com’s mini-models for their Wonderland shot came from a very famous family.

English fashion model Daisy Lowe, the daughter of equally famous singer-songwriter mum, Pearl Lowe, saw her younger siblings following in her footsteps as they made their modelling debut in the alexandalexa.com March magazine photoshoot.

Vogue.co.uk say the mini-model trio, Alfie (12), Frankie (10) and Betty Lowe (four-years-old) , surprised their mum on how happily they posed for the camera.

“We were a little apprehensive at first about doing the shoot,” Pearl told VOGUE.COM. “They’re indie kids at heart and we weren’t sure whether they’d be a bit grumpy and not enjoy it. You never really know whether it’s the right thing to do, but, they LOVED it – so much so that they’re asking: ‘When is the next one?’! It’s all very surprising and I’m so pleased for them, they look great and had so much fun.”

“They look amazing!” Daisy enthused of her younger siblings’ modelling debut. ”I’m quite impressed that they scrub up so well!”

What You Will Need

2 oz / 50 g Butter, melted

2 tsp Caster sugar

2 oz / 50 g Currants

1 Egg, lightly beaten

1/2 oz / 15 g Fresh yeast

Honey, to glaze

1/2 oz / 15 g Lard, softened

4 fl oz / 125 mls Milk, warm

1 oz / 25 g Mixed candies peel

8 oz / 225 g Plain white flower

 2 oz / 50 g Raisins

1 Salt, pinch

2 oz / 50 g Sultanas

What To Do

1. Grease a 17.5cm (7inch) square tin.

2. Put 50g (2oz) of the flour into a bowl and add the yeast, caster sugar and milk.

3. Mix to a smooth batter and leave in a warm place for 20 minutes until frothy.

4. Rub the lard into the remaining flour.

5. Add the salt, the yeast mixture and the beaten egg and mix to a soft dough.

6. Knead on a floured board for about 5 minutes until really smooth.

7. Place in the bowl, cover with a clean, damp cloth

8. Leave in a warm place for 1-1½ hours until doubled in size.

9. Knead again on a floured board and then roll out to a rectangle approximately 22.5 x 30 cm (9 x 12 inches).

10.  Brush the melted butter over the surface

11.  Sprinkle the dried fruit and sugar over, leaving a narrow border all the way round the edge.

12.  Roll up like a Swiss roll, starting with the longer side.

13.  Brush the edges of the dough with water and seal carefully.

14.  Cut the roll into nine pieces and place the rolls, cut side uppermost, in the prepared tin.

15.  Leave in a warm place for a further 30 minutes until well risen.

16.  Meanwhile heat the oven to 190° C, 375° F, gas mark 5.

17.  When the buns are risen, bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.

18.  Remove from the oven, turn out onto a wire rack and, while still warm, brush the tops with honey.

19.  To serve, pull apart and eat warm or cold. Brush tops with extra egg

Just to see the glamour of the fashion world, we snuck into the Alexandalexa.com March photoshoot to see how glamourous kids fashion really is.

What we found was a studio full of mini models having fun as they took part in a photoshoot that included Alice in Wonderland themed outfits, a real live rabbit called Sorrell, and some topsy turvy sets.

With photographer Annie Bundfuss, stylist Natalie Chesterman and hair & make-up artist Christina Corway helping out. The team at alexandalexa.com were able to spend some time with the kids, playing in the make believe world created especially for the March issue of the alexandalexa.com magazine online.

To make the shoot even more enjoyable for the kids, the mini models were all cast as different characters of The Alice in Wonderland story, starting with Daisy Lowe’s imaginative younger siblings in their modelling debut:
