Grrrreat Snacks and a BEAR-y Good Giveaway

He won’t eat broccoli and she despises carrots, but you need to somehow ensure your little ones get five of their five a day, preferably in a fun and non-dramatic way.

Though disguising fruits and vegetables in ‘Green Potatoes’ and ‘Chocolate Banana Zucchini Cake‘ works, it requires extra effort, sneaky cooking and mega pre planning, but it can be done.

Finding a healthy replacement for chocolate, biscuits and sweets however, is a bit more of an effort…or it was…until BEAR came along…

All of the products produced by BEAR are 100% natural, contain one of your five a day and are under 100 calories. Each snack is made without added sugar and contains no preservatives, just Mother Nature’s delicious fruit and yummy whole grains. Basically, if you can’t find it on a tree or in a field, you won’t find it in their snacks.

The packaging and its contents appeal to adults and kids, with three snack types available. We had our Mini Critics have a taste so they could let us know what they thought of each one:

BEAR Fruit Nibbles  Yummy fresh fruit which has been handpicked and slowly baked, you and your kiddies can choose between Cherry Berry or Mango Pineapple

“I shared the Cherry Berry and Mango Pineapple ones with my brother, we tried them all together and it tasted like Starburst candies! These are my favourites because they remind me of Jelly Beans, but they are better because I know they are good for me” – Edward 10

BEAR Granola Nibbles Made with crunchy whole grains and fruit, these snacks are gently backed and blended for a delicious and healthy nibble. There are three flavours available: Tropical Crunch, Apple Crumble and Cocoa Cherry Pie.

“I like these, the Coca Cherry Pie ones were my favourite because I am a Chocolate monster, my mum thinks we can eat it with milk too instead of Coco Rocks, but we ate them in the car and they were yummy….but we made a mess!” – Seth 5

BEAR YO YOS  100% kid friendly, BEAR’s yummy yo yos are 100% fruit rolls for kids (for those of you North Americans reading, think Fruit Roll Up without the sugar and chemicals), created by blending the freshest fruits together and baking the combination gently, kids can choose between Strawberry, Raspberry and Peach.

“These ones are the best; I got to try all the kinds of snacks and these ones are really cool because you can kind of play with them.  I like these more than candy” – Charlotte 7
