For our back to school photoshoot, we had a host of mini models that we had never met before. Our youngest (other than the babies) was Katie, who just turned 6 and has been modelling for a year and a half.
We asked Katie a few questions on set to learn a little bit about this little charmer.
1. What made you decide to be a model?
I wanted to be in Magazines!
2. What is the best thing about being a model?
To go to photo shoots I get to go on the train, I love going on the train.
3. What is your favourite outfit you wore on the last Alexandalexa.com photoshoot and why?
The one with the stars (Katie was wearing Sonia Rykiel Multi-Coloured Striped Dress with a Gem Cardigan, Winter Ribbed Tights and Natrino Black Leather Ballet Pumps).
4. What kinds of clothing do you like to wear at the weekend (what is your personal style)?
I like to wear dresses all the time
5. What is your favourite kind of music and who is your favourite band?
Sha La La La La La
(which we can only assume is either Van Morrosin’s Brown Eyed Girl based on Katie’s pretty brown eyes and the tune she makes her response in, or, The Little Mermaid’s Kiss the Girl which she plays on the piano for us while waiting for the second half of the shoot to start)
6. What is your favourite book?
Little Rabbit Foo Foo (At least two of us in the office – all over the age of 25 – agree this might be the storybook rhyme)
7. What is your favourite food?
Pizza! (This response may be baised based on the fact we have just given her Pizza for lunch)
8. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A ballet dancer or a model
9. What is your favourite subject in School and why?
I like Science because we are planting seeds to make a garden
10. On the photo shoot you sat down and played beautifully on the grand piano on set, where did you learn to play piano and how long have you been playing?
I have been playing since my 6th Birthday, I got a keyboard for my birthday and it has lights!
