KIDOGA: Relaxing Yoga for Kids

With the increased modern-day stress on children these days, caused by pressure and expectations from peers and the media, life-long yoga fan Kerry Samuel decided to take her IT Marketing and Business Development background and put it to good use. In 2008, she founded Kidoga – a fantastic way for kids to de-stress and relax. Children are inspired to keep fit in a fun and relaxing way with yoga and street dance. Parents can also join in, meaning that this is a great way for kids to do something with Mum and Dad, as well as stay healthy. The class can also help to improve children’s confidence and concentration. Kids Yoga has been also known to aid many conditions such as asthma, insomnia, digestion, ADD and learning disabilities.

A company in its infancy based in Reading, London classes are currently available in Ladbroke Grove on Saturday mornings. However, the scheme is also in various schools and youth centres and they are looking to expand by further, so keep an eye out for classes nearer to you.
