She’s been described as being “the cool girl at school, whose outfits you would always rush to copy”, she’s a celebrated London stylist, fashion commentator and the current Senior Fashion Editor of InStyle Magazine UK (impressed yet?). How excited are we that Natalie Hartley, will be the first of three contributors to be featured in AlexandAlexa’s first ever TV Style Series.
Natalie has always been a trail blazer when it comes to women’s fashion; she is renowned for her fresh take on style and championing looks that don’t take themselves too seriously. That is why we felt she would make the perfect stylist for AlexandAlexa’s SS12 lookbook, Natalie’s first foray into the emerging world of kids’ designer clothes!
Natalie has dressed fashion icons such as Diane Kruger, Alexa Chung, Eva Mendes and Ronnie Wood. In episode one of our Video Style Series Natalie combines her years of expertise in adult collections with her memories of fun childhood dressing to give you a unique insight into how make fashion fun. She shows us how to put together looks from the likes of big name designers like Stella McCartney, Junior Gaultier and Missoni for girls. She also talks us through child friendly takes on this season’s big trends, sports-luxe and the rock’n’ roller look.
If you’re a fan of Jelly shoes you will love Natalie’s profile on the Vivienne Westwood for Mini Mellisa collection. These are the ‘key’ jelly shoes to invest in for summer. Natalie loves their “easy fuss-free fastenings” and the fact that they smell like bubble gum.
