For a bit of fun this Father’s Day we thought we would profile our favourite celebrity dads. Fame, fortune and good looks aside; each has made the time to better the lives of children in need – take a look you might be surprised.

Why do we love them: New to AlexandAlexa for SS12 the Sun-San sandal can be worn in the sea, on the rocks and to afternoon tea with Grandma. The waterproof leather and rust proof buckles mean that these cute trend-lead styles really can be worn literally everywhere. Sun-San sandals have been American cult classics since the 1940 and are now a favourite with the celebrity set, spotted on the likes of Suri Cruise and Matilda Ledger.

To mark the launch of the collection for girls by Kickle, AlexandAlexa commissioned a series of illustrations by Sarah Bromley. Sarah’s work has been featured by big brands such as Coca-Cola as well as smaller independent publications. Sarah based her artwork on looks created by the Kickle Style Panel, an initiative where AlexandAlexa asked their favourite trend-spotters from the likes of Grazia, GQ and Frankie Magazine to create a Kickle look for one of their favourite little girls.
This coming Jubilee weekend promises to be a highlight of the Summer. Rather than heading overseas Britons are opting for staycations to make the most of the fabulous festivities occurring nationwide. The London river boat pageant promises to be one of the most elaborate in history and there are a host of fabulous family-orientated events nationwide to mark this historic occasion.
